The four main stages of a typical microgeneration project are:
Site Survey
One of our trained surveyors will visit your home or business premises to discuss your particular requirements and to carry out a site survey and renewable energy assessment. In particular, we will be looking to assess the potential of the natural resource at your site and quantify your existing power usage so that we can size a microgeneration system that is just right for your needs.
The site survey, which will be at a time of your convenience, should take no longer than a few hours and will form the basis for the renewable energy feasibility study and report.
Renewable Energy Feasibilty Study & Report
Based on our initial site survey, we will then carry out a renewable energy feasibility study for your property and provide you with an independent and impartial report explaining and summarising our findings. In particular, the report will include:
- Your current energy usage and energy efficiency levels.
- Our recommendations (if appropriate) on how to reduce your energy usage and improve your efficiency.
- An options summary, giving all microgeneration systems that are feasible for your property.
- An options assessment where all feasible options are rated against your requirements, viability, payback time and budget.
- Our recommendations based on the options assessment.
- Quotations and installation programmes for each feasible option.
Our report is designed to provide you with all that you need to make an informed and calculated decision as to the renewable energy technologies that are right for your property.
Design & Installation
If you decide to proceed with your microgeneration project, we are happy to carry out the installation phase for you. We offer fully accredited solar panel installation, wind turbine installation, micro hydro installation and biomass installation.
Ongoing Support & Maintenance
The majority of renewable energy systems require little or no ongoing maintenance, with most having typical design lives of in excess of 20 years with warranties to cover this lifespan but we will only ever be a phone call away and will be happy to help if you have any questions or problems with your system.
