Our Previous Renewable Energy Projects

Domestic Microgeneration Project

Mr and Mrs Evans came to us looking to implement microgeneration technologies at their terrace house/semi detached property after hearing about the opportunity to make money from renewable technology through the governments Clean Energy Cashback Scheme.

We began by visiting the property to carry out a detailed site survey to assess the options and feasibility of installing renewable technologies and to discuss what Mr and Mrs Evans wanted to achieve from installing microgeneration technologies at their property.

From this initial site survey a feasibility report was drawn up showing the various microgeneration technologies that were suitable and could be implemented at Mr and Mrs Evans’s property. The report also listed both the energy savings and carbon emissions savings that could be made as a result of installing each individual microgeneration technology suitable for the property. Our feasibility assessment showed that the loft insulation was not as thick as is recommended, so fixing that was the priority before moving onto any renewable technologies. Our report found that even though the property was quite an old property both photovoltaic panels and a domestic wind turbine were suitable enough to provide reliable benefits with regards to renewable energy production.

Medium Sized Project for an SME in Lincolnshire

Rainhill Ltd approached us looking to implement renewable energy technologies at their business premises in Lincolnshire in order to reduce their monthly overheads. After discussing their needs in detail on the phone we arranged a site visit and carried out a survey to establish which microgeneration technologies were best suited to meet Rainhill Ltd’s specific needs.

After the site survey was complete we drew up a feasibility report listing our recommendations for installation, as well as giving detailed information on likely planning restrictions and grants funding. With the help and advice of Green Energy Consultancy Ltd, our client was able to acquire an interest free government loan that Rainhill Ltd were eligible for if used to install the Solar PV system that were finally chosen and then installed by our MCS accredited installers.
